There are 3 different designs.
Fully framed rear doors come colour coded to the overall colour of the pick-up top and are normally available as a single piece of glass that is bonded into the frame. All the hinges , handles and ancillary items are attached to the frame and not the glass.
Semi framed rear doors normally have a black fiberglass bottom, weather strip or an internal strengthening section and the handles - door locks - hinges - gas struts are attached directly through the glass.
Frameless rear doors have no internal strengthening and no external fiberglass or weather strip. The hinges, gas struts and handles are attached through or directly on the glass.
There are 3 different designs.
One piece length , fully tinted and hinged at the front nearest the rear doors of the pick-up that opens out a couple of inches at the rear to provide ventilation.
Two pieces of glass in the side --- the first is normally oblong and is in a fixed position that does not open closest to the doors of the pick-up. The second is normally angled and closest to the rear of the pick-up that is hinged and pops out a couple of inches for ventilation.
Sliding side windows are exactly what they sound like -- two pieces of glass in a frame, one slides behind the other forwards or backwards. These side windows are called sliding window cassettes.
Key turn barrel only with no handle.
Push button with locking barrel in the center.
Twist T shaped handles in either corner of the rear door.
Twist T shaped handle positioned in the rear door along the lower edge and in the middle connecting to internal locking rods.
Recessed lift up handle positioned in the rear door along the lower edge and in the middle connecting to internal locking rods.
Raised pull down handle positioned in the rear door along the lower edge and in the middle connecting to internal locking rods
Gas struts are completely different from top to top . They vary in strength , length and more importantly how they connect to the top and the rear glass door accordingly.
If they are too long the rear door will not shut, too short and the rear door will not open far enough.
